Disconnecting an environment from a Data Plane

Disconnect an environment from a Data Plane. The next task runs from the environment will not occur in the Data Plane.

When an environment is connected to a Data Plane, the existing settings of engine and run profile are overridden for this environment. Disconnecting an environment from a Data Plane reverts the override of these settings.

Before you begin

You must have the Infrastructure Administrator (TMC_CLUSTER_MANAGEMENT) role in Talend Management Console.

  1. Go to the Processing page.
  2. Open the Data Planes tab.
  3. Click a Data Plane name in the list to open the details panel.
  4. Click the Details button then open the Environments tab.
  5. Select one or more environments from the list.
  6. Click Disconnect.
  7. Confirm the environment disconnection.
  8. Close the dialog box.
When the disconnection is in progress, the environment has the Disconnecting status. The disconnection can take up to five minutes.
You can refresh the page to see the updated status of the environment.

Ongoing tasks will continue to run but their status will not be recorded. Tasks in this environment will not run until the environment is connected to a Data Plane again.

If the environment is successfully disconnected, its status changes to Not connected.

The Error status can occur when a part of the resources are not released for this environment in the Data Plane. Once resolved, you can try to disconnect the environment again.
