You can import into a target environment one or more data models exported from your source environment. The source and target environments should belong to the same product version.

Before you begin

All semantic types referenced by the data model you want to import must have been published in Talend Dictionary Service.

Procedure

  1. Log in to as a campaign owner.
  2. Select DATA MODELS and click the IMPORT DATA MODEL tab on top of the page.
  3. Browse to the .json file you have exported and saved on your local system and click Open.
If a data model with the same name already exists in the target environment, you are prompted to overwrite it whether it is referenced by a campaign or not. When it is referenced by a campaign, the campaign tasks are recomputed and the task list is refreshed.

Results

A message is displayed to confirm the import. The data models are imported and listed in the data model list and the Modified By and Modified On values are updated accordingly.
