If you deploy the service into Talend Runtime by coping the KAR/JAR into <TalendRuntimePath>/deploy folder, you can change the service endpoint by creating a configuration file in <TalendRuntimePath>/etc called <JobName>.cfg which contains a single line, for example:
context = Default

The service will be available in the following endpoints in different context.

Context Available endpoint

Default

http://localhost:8040/services/contacts

dev http://localhost:8040/services/dev/contacts
test http://localhost:8040/services/test/contacts

In order to ensure that the service starts in the correct context, you need create the <JobName>.cfg file with the correct context setting before putting the KAR/JAR file into the <TalendRuntimePath>/deploy folder.
