The first step on the way to using Talend Cloud Data Inventory is to access and log in to the web
application.
Once you receive your login information from your administrator, proceed as
follows to log in Talend Cloud Data Inventory and start
using it:
Procedure
-
Access the Talend Cloud
environment at the URL corresponding to your region following this pattern:
<region>.cloud.talend.com. You'll find a list
of the URLs to use for each data center in Talend Cloud regions and URLs.
-
Enter your login
and password, then click Log
in to open the Talend Cloud
homepage.
Tip: If you work with several domains, you can use your Login Name instead of your email address to
connect directly to the domain of your choice. You can find it in your
Profile preferences. The Login Name is a combination of the username
and the domain name. For example: johndoe@mydomain.talend.com.
Each app has
its own quick start guide and direct links to the documentation that you can
access by clicking Learn more, as well as short video
tutorials.
Note: Some
apps may not be available to you depending on your license or
deployment.

To access the Talend Cloud Data Inventory
homepage, you can either:

be able to import, sort, interact with, and search your assets from here.
From the
Talend Cloud Data Inventory
homepage, you can also access several other tabs, including the
Connections tab, where you will be able to set up access to
your data stores, the Semantic types tab, where you can refine
how your data will be discovered and validated, and also the Custom
attributes tab, where you can manage your own metadata definitions.
