Different categories of information can be viewed, added or modified in the Overview page, like the description field. No description has been added in the corresponding field during the dataset creation, but this information can also be directly entered in the Description tile. You will use this text area to enter a meaningful description of the dataset content and purpose.

Procedure

  1. To add or edit the description of a dataset, click the cog icon on the top right of the Description tile.
  2. Enter the following text in the dedicated area:
    This .csv file contains metadata for a list of 100 movies of various origins and released before July 2017. The information provided for each film includes the title, genre, IMDb id, overview, popularity, budget, original language, release date and runtime.
  3. Click the Save button.

Results

The overview of the movies_gsg dataset is now more complete, with a proper description, thus better documented for later uses.
