When opening a physical data models, several actions are available to edit them.
The table below describes the different actions that you can perform on your physical data models.

Edit | You can modify the properties of your metadata element, such as Comment, Description or Label(s). Select a property, choose an action and, if necessary, enter a value.You can also add a comment describing your changes and visualize it in the audit log. |

Show object in Diagram Visualizer | This button opens the diagram of your metadata element. |

Show Lineage overview | This button opens a diagram representing an overview of the lineage within your metadata element. |

Open in Metadata Manager | This button opens your metadata element in Metadata Manager. |

Open business glossary | This button opens a business glossary report where you can visualize direct and remote links, direct and remote definitions and glossary lookups, related to your metadata element. |

More actions | This button opens a menu where you can choose more actions for your metadata element. |
|
Show audit log | You can produce an audit log of activity at any level in your metadata element. |

Compare with... | You can compare the opened version of your metadata element with a version of another source. |

Compare with previous version | You can compare the opened version of your metadata element with a previous one. |
