Data storage location
When using Talend Data Preparation, nothing is saved directly on
your computer.
CSV or Excel datasets that you import are stored permanently on the remote Talend Data Preparation server.
For the other dataset types, the unmodified sample data that you can see after creating a dataset or in the preparation screen is stored on the remote Talend Data Preparation server. However, once you start applying functions to your data, the modified sample is cached temporarily.
