You can export a single data model from your source environment so that it is ready to be imported into the target environment. The source and target environments should belong to the same product version.

Before you begin

  • You have accessed Talend Data Stewardship as a campaign owner.

  1. In the home page, select DATA MODELS, point to the data model you want to export and click the export icon displayed to the right.
  2. In the open dialog box, click OK to save a local copy of the data model as a .json file.
The .json file is saved on your local system with a name following the template <data model label>_<export_date>. The export date is in the format YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss-000.

The data model is exported as a .json file with all its metadata and parameter values. You can now import the file into the target environment or subsequent releases.
