You can use the JasperReports reporting engine to create your own reports through iReport, an open, powerful and complex tool that uses XML templates to generate reports that can be saved as PDF, XML, or HTML files. The XML document that defines the composition of the report is a reusable template that the report framework in the studio populates with data it extracts from the data quality database.

For further information on using a JRXML tool via the Profiling perspective of the studio, see Configuring a JRXML reporting tool.

You can then import those personalized JRXML templates in the studio.

If you do not want to start from scratch and create your own templates, you can import the by-default JRXML files and folders that are pre-defined in the platform and modify them according to your needs. For further information, see How to import built-in JRXML templates.

The JRXML files you want to use with the studio must be created or updated with an iReport version that is compatible with the studio. The table below provides a compatibility list of iReport with the studio:
