Scheduling automated import of a model

Scheduling regular automated imports allows you to maintain the most accurate and updated visualization of your enterprise information system model. You can schedule the import of one or more models at a time by assigning a schedule to a folder or a configuration.

Before you begin

You have been assigned a global role with the Application Administration capability.

Procedure

  1. Go to MANAGE > Schedules.
  2. Click Add.
  3. In the Properties tab, fill in the following fields:
    Fields Description
    Name Type in the name of the schedule.
    Description Type in the description of the schedule.
    Object To run the schedule on the repository, leave this field empty.

    To run the schedule on the current configuration or an object, click the search icon and select a model in the dialog box.
    Operation Select Import new model(s) or Import new model(s) from folder from the drop-down list.
    One Time/Recurring/Advanced Select one of the checkboxes and specify the schedule information.
  4. Click CREATE.
  5. Open the Execution History tab to view the history and access the log.
