Linux in headless mode
When using a headless Linux configured with minimum requirements, you need to install and configure the fontconfig and libfontconfig1 libraries. Otherwise, the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) cannot access the fonts to perform diagram rendering. Recent versions of JRE such as 11 no longer bundle any fonts and rely on the underlying operating system fonts. Most bare Linux configurations bundle a minimum set of fonts, including all bare Linux VM offered on most cloud companies.
