HL7v2 representation properties
- Discard out-of-order segments: Select this option to exclude segments that do not follow the order defined by the structure.
- Reorder out-of-order segments: Select this option to include segments that do not follow the order defined by the structure and reorder these segments to match the structure.
- Field delimiter: Enter the character to use to separate fields in a segment.
- Component delimiter: Enter the character to use to separate components in a field.
- Subcomponent delimiter: Enter the character to use to separate subcomponents in a component.
- Repetition delimiter: Enter the character to use to separate repeated fields in a segment.
- Escape character: Enter the character used to escape special characters in values.
- Character encoding: Specify the character encoding for the data to be processed. For more information, see Character encoding.
- Trim whitespace on input?: Select this check box to automatically remove any leading or trailing whitespace from the input data for all elements. The non-leading or trailing whitespace is not affected.
- Pad to minimum length on output?: Select this check box to pad the output to the minimum size with either spaces (character) or zeros (binary).
