The best practice when using Talend Data Stewardship is to set up one instance for each environment of your production chain and export/import the campaigns in the project across environments.
You can promote campaigns only between identical Talend product versions. You can also promote the same campaign in different subsequent minor releases of a specific version without having to recreate it from scratch.
