MDM Platform

The encrypt.sh file under the directory <MDM_ROOT>/tools/encrypt enables you to encrypt plain text passwords using a terminal.

After that, the encrypted passwords can be used in configuration files directly.

Procedure

  1. Open a terminal instance.
  2. Enter the full directory that navigates to the encrypt.sh file.
  3. Run the command encrypt <your_password> to encrypt your password.
The encrypted password is displayed accordingly.
