How to open a Job script file

If you have a Job script that is not stored on your Repository, for example, a Job script created manually in a text editor or exported from another Talend Studio, you can always open and edit it in your Talend Studio.

Procedure

  1. In your Talend Studio, select File > Open/Edit Job Script from the menu to open the Open/Edit Job Script wizard.
  2. Browse to the .jobscript file you want to open and select it.
  3. Click Open to open the file in the workspace of the Integration perspective.
    Information noteRestriction:

    You can open and edit .jobscript files in your Talend Studio but you cannot save them in the Repository.
