If you log into the web portal and choose to be a Bonita user, you can take or release a task available in the Tasks view.

Warning: The tasks available in the Tasks view depend on the roles of the login user.

To take a workflow task as a Bonita user, do the following:

Log into the Bonita BPM web portal page as the Web UI administrator, and choose User from the upper right corner.
Select the check box before the task you want to take.

Click the TAKE button.
On the left panel, select My tasks. The task you just took will be listed there.
Example

On this page, you can select the task you do not want to take any more, and click RELEASE to release the task. Meanwhile, on the To do page, the task you just took cannot be taken anymore.
