Retrieving your remote projects

As your existing projects are stored on a remote SVN or Git repository, you just need to link it to the new version of your Talend Studio to retrieve the projects you have previously created.

Apache Subversion is deprecated from 7.3.1 R2021-08 release onwards

Information noteWarning: If your project has any reference project, all reference projects must be migrated before the main project.

Procedure

  1. Launch the new Talend Studio you have just installed.
  2. In the login window, configure the connection to the SVN or Git server where your projects are stored.

Results

The remote projects are displayed in the Project list and appear on the Talend Studio Repository view.

For more information on how to back up the projects and metadata stored in the SVN repository, see Backing up the Git or SVN repository.
