Open Studio for ESB

You can set the default endpoint URI for REST services and default Service Locator namespace. To do so:

From the menu bar, click Window > Preferences to open the Preferences dialog box.
Expand the Talend >ESB node.
Click Service-REST to display the corresponding view.
On this view, you can define the default endpoint URI for REST services and default Service Locator namespace.

Select the Ignore Service Locator for Studio testing (RUN) check box to ignore the Service Locator option when you run the service in the Studio. This option allows you to test REST Services and to use the endpoint URL as context parameter for the Studio execution via the RUN button without any change. The same REST Service will use the Service Locator when deployed to a non-Studio environment.
Note: The Ignore Service Locator for Studio testing (RUN) check box is available only if you have installed the R2020-05 Studio Monthly update or a later one delivered by Talend. For more information about Studio Monthly update, check with your administrator.
