About this task
In the Project Settings dialog box, you can also define the Status.
To do so:
Procedure

On the toolbar of the Studio main window, click
or click from the menu bar to open the Project Settings
dialog box.

In the tree view of the dialog box, click the Status node to define the main properties of your Repository tree view elements.
The main properties of a repository item gathers information data such as Name, Purpose, Description, Author, Version and Status of the selected item. Most properties are free text fields, but the Status field is a drop-down list.

Click the New... button to display a dialog
box and populate the Status list with the most
relevant values, according to your needs. Note that the Code cannot be more than 3-character long and the Label is required.
Talend makes a difference between two status types: Technical status and Documentation status.The Technical status list displays classification codes for elements which are to be running on stations, such as Jobs, metadata or routines.The Documentation status list helps classifying the elements of the repository which can be used to document processes (Business Models or documentation).
