Retrieving application settings for registering the service principal in Microsoft Exchange

Procedure

  1. Open the application configuration page for App for POP and IMAP (see the first two steps in the previous section for the detailed operation).
    The settings of the application are listed in the right pane.
  2. Copy the values of Application (client) ID and Directory (tenant) ID and store the values in a safe place.
  3. Click App for POP and IMAP in the Managed application in local directory row to open the App for POP and IMAP | Overview page.
  4. Copy the value of Object ID and store the value in a safe place.
