Azure Active Directory is a Platform-as-a-service (PaaS) application: it provides
many services based on the Active Directory. To access SSO through Azure AD, you need to
create a tenant user.
Before you begin
Make sure to have an Azure Active Directory subscription.
Procedure

Login on Azure through https://portal.azure.com/

Create a tenant.

Click Azure Active Directory.

Select Azure Active Directory and click Next:
Configuration.

In the Configuration tab, fill in the fields for the tenant:

Select Next: Review + Create. Click
Create if the information is correct.
The new tenant is created on Azure AD.

Click to create a user for the administrator directory.

Select Create user and fill in the fields. Store
the data: you will need it at a later step.

Set the Global administrator role to the new
user.
The new user is created on Azure AD.

Log out from the current user account on Azure. Log in again with the
newly created tenant user.
