Installing example files in the Data Integration demo project
After importing the Data Integration demo project and opening it for the first time, you are required to install the example files that are used in the example Jobs.
Procedure
- Expand the Contexts node in the Repository tree view, and open the context group globalContext.
- If needed, change the value of the root variable to define the directory where the example files will be generated, C:\TalendDemoFiles\ being the default value.
- Change the value of the workspace variable according to the path of the local workspace of your actual Studio installation.
- Click Finish, and then click Yes to propagate the modifications.
- In the Update Detection dialog box, click OK to update the selected items.
- Open the beforeRunJobs Job, and press F6 to execute the Job.
Results
All the example files are generated in directory you specified with the root variable.
