How to validate a license after renewal

If you already owned a license that has been reactivated by Talend after renewal, you may have to validate it manually from the Talend Administration Center web application.

Procedure

In the address bar of your web browser, type in or paste the URL address corresponding to the location of Talend Administration Center, and press ENTER.
Example
http://localhost:8080/org.talend.administrator
On the Database Configuration page that opens, type in the security password (by default, it is admin) and click OK.
Depending on your case:
- If the server holding Talend Administration Center has access to Internet, your license token is automatically validated during the series of checks and you can go to the login page of Talend Administration Center.
- If only the server holding Talend Administration Center has access to internet, do the following to generate a validation request:
  - Click Validate your license manually to open the [Validation request] window.
  - Copy the validation message to your clipboard, then click link to open the validation form in a new tab.
  - From this page, paste the validation message in the blank area then click Get your validation token. Your validation token appears, copy it to your clipboard.
  - Go back to the [Validation request] window and paste the token in the Validate area.
  - Click the Validate button to validate the operation and close the pop-up window.
- If the server nor the browser have access to internet, do the following to generate a validation request:
  - Click Validate your license manually to open the [Validation request] window.
  - Click link. A Web page is displayed with a connection error message.
  - Copy the URL from the address bar and paste it in a text file.
  - Paste the URL in a browser that has access to internet and press Enter.
  - From this page, paste the validation message in the blank area then click Get your validation token. Your validation token appears, copy it to your clipboard.
  - Go back to the [Validation request] window and paste the token in the Validate area.
  - Click the Validate button to validate the operation and close the pop-up window.
Your license is validated and you can log in again to your Talend products.
A license expiry warning will be shown in the header of Talend Administration Center web page 10 days before your license token expires. You can go to the License page or the Database Configuration page to update your license.
