Stop your Amazon EMR cluster from Talend Studio

Using the Job created to start an Amazon EMR cluster in Launch an Amazon EMR cluster from the Talend Studio, you can stop your cluster.

Procedure

  1. In the same Job, open the Component view of the tAmazonEMRManage component.
  2. In the Configuration table, select Stop from the Action list.
  3. Specify if you want to stop all clusters in the selected region or a particular cluster based on its name or its ID
  4. Press F6 to run the Job.
  5. Once you are finished your testing, remember to turn off your EC2 instance hosting Talend Studio.
