Assigning an object role on objects

You can assign the object roles on a configuration, a model or an object from the Responsibilities tab.

  • To assign an object role on a specific object, open its object page.
  • To assign an object role on a model, open its object page or open the model in the repository manager or the configuration manager.
  • To assign an object role on a configuration or a folder containing models, open it in the repository manager.

Before you begin

You have been assigned an object role with the Security Management capability.

Procedure

  1. Click the Responsibilities tab.
  2. Click Add role.
  3. Select the object role from the list.
  4. Select one or more users or groups.
    You can also type in the first letters of the user or group name to find it.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Save your changes.
