Scheduling an operation to delete unused versions

Delete the old unused versions of models and physical data models to free up some space.

This operation deletes a version of a model if this version is not used in a version of the configuration and if this version has been imported more than an hour and before a specified number of days.

Before you begin

You have been assigned a global role with the Application Administration capability.

Procedure

  1. Go to MANAGE > Schedules.
  2. Click Add.
  3. In the Properties tab, fill in the following fields:
    Fields Description
    Name Type in the name of the schedule.
    Description Type in the description of the schedule.
    Object To run the schedule on the repository, leave this field empty or select the repository.

    To run the schedule on an object, click the search icon and select a model in the dialog box.
    Operation Select Delete unused versions from the drop-down list.
    Days Specify the number of days.

    The unused versions imported before the specified number of days will be deleted.
    Last modification time Select the check box to check the last modification time of the version along with the import time.
    One Time/Recurring/Advanced Select one of the checkboxes and specify the schedule information.
  4. Click CREATE.
  5. Open the Execution History tab to view the history and access the log.
