Install the Talend Data Mapper feature on your Talend Runtime.

Before you begin

You have installed Talend Runtime.

About this task

Talend Data Mapper is not included by default in Talend Runtime. In order to deploy a Job or Route that uses a data mapping component, you first need to install the feature.

Procedure

  1. Start your Talend Runtime.
  2. Run the following command: feature:install talend-data-mapper.
    If you need the old Eclipse-based runtime, it should be installed separately using feature:install talend-data-mapper-eclipse.

Results

The Talend Data Mapper feature is now installed. When running the feature:list command, you should see talend-data-mapper and talend-data-mapper-dependencies in the list of features. You can now deploy a Job or Route using a data mapping component to your Talend Runtime.
