About this task

  • If you download a update to the local Nexus server, any Talend Studio which connects to Talend Administration Center will be updated automatically even if you want to test the update on only one Talend Studio.
  • A backup is not automatically created for Talend Studio before the automated update is applied.
    Warning: As an administrator, if you want to test the update you need to have a test environment where you download the update and test it. If all goes well, you proceed to download the tested update in the production environment.

Procedure

  1. Open and restart Talend Studio in Remote mode.
    Talend Studio asks Talend Administration Center if there are updates that have been downloaded to the local Nexus server and not yet applied to Talend Studio.
  2. If it doesn't open automatically, click Feature Manager in the toolbar.
  3. Follow the steps in the update installation wizard.
  4. Restart Talend Studio.

Results

Talend Studio is updated.
