SVN/GIT-based tasks are not supported in Talend Administration Center from Talend 8.0. After migrated from a previous version to 8.0, tasks created from SVN/GIT can not be duplicated using the Duplicate button from the tool bar in the Job Conductor page.
  • If the status of the SVN/GIT-based task is Ready to generate from the previous version, after migrated to Talend 8.0, the status is changed to Need update and an error message SVN/GIT task is not supported is shown in the Error status column. You need to update the Job from an artifact repository or from a zip file. No properties of the task can be changed before the Job is updated.
  • If the status of the SVN/GIT-based task is Ready to deploy or Ready to run from the previous version, after migrated to Talend 8.0, no error message is reported and the task can work as before.
