The tDBConnection_1 component establishes a connection to the Google Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL instance.

Procedure

  1. Double-click tDBOutput_1 to open its Basic settings view.
  2. Make sure that PostgreSQL is selected from the Database drop-down list.
  3. Provide the information about the Google Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL instance by taking the following steps.
    1. Type in the IP address and the port of the Google Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL instance in the Host and the Port fields.
    2. Type in the database name and the schema name in the Database and the Schema fields.
    3. Type in the username and password in the Username and the Password fields.
      To type in the password, click the [...] button next to the Password field, type in the password in the dialog box that appears, and click OK.
  4. Leave the other options as they are.
