These properties are used to configure tRabbitMQAck running in the Standard Job framework.

The Standard tRabbitMQAck component belongs to the Internet family.

The component in this framework is available in all subscription-based Talend products.

Basic settings

Use an existing connection

Select this check box and in the Component List click the relevant connection component to reuse the connection details you already defined.

Important: It is necessary to select this option and specify a connection by selecting the corresponding component from the Component list drop-down list. An error occurs if this component runs with this option not selected.

Mode

Select the way to acknowledge received messages: Ack or Nack.

In the Ack mode, an acknowledge message is sent to the messaging broker when a message is received; the Nack mode indicates that message processing failures occur.

Requeue

Select this option to add messages that are not acknowledged to the message queue again.

This option is available when you select Nack from the Mode drop-down list.

Advanced settings

tStatCatcher Statistics

Select this check box to gather the Job processing metadata at the Job level as well as at each component level.

Global Variables

Global Variables

ERROR_MESSAGE: the error message generated by the component when an error occurs. This is an After variable and it returns a string.

A Flow variable functions during the execution of a component while an After variable functions after the execution of the component.

To fill up a field or expression with a variable, press Ctrl+Space to access the variable list and choose the variable to use from it.

For more information about variables, see Using contexts and variables.

Usage

Usage rule

This component is usually used at the beginning of a subJob. It needs to work with a tRabbitMQInput component and the Auto acknowledge option in the Advanced settings view of the tRabbitMQInput component cannot be selected.
