Changing the ESB artifact build type in Talend Studio

Before you begin

Before importing a project, make sure you have an existing remote project stored either in Talend Administration Center or Talend Management Console.

In this section the Git Version Control System as well as the ESB demo project are used as an example but you can use your own VCS and existing ESB artifacts.

Procedure

  1. In Talend Studio, connect to your remote project.
  2. Import the ESB/Application Integration demo project as described in the Talend Studio User Guide.
  3. From the Repository tree view, open Job Designs > Standard > DemoREST 0.1.
  4. From the Job > Deployment tab, change the Build Type of the Job to Microservice.
  5. Open Route Designs > Routes > DemoRESTRoute 0.1 and change the Build Type of the Route to RouteMicroservice from the Job > Deployment tab.
  6. Open Route Designs > Routes > DemoSEDADemo 0.1 and change the Build Type of the Route to RouteMicroservice from the Job > Deployment tab.
  7. Save your changes.
  8. Push your changes to Git.
