Setting up the display format of the foreign key information

About this task

By default, the elements in the foreign key information are displayed by being concatenated together with a ' - '.

The following example shows how to customize a different display format of the foreign key information whenever it is available in Talend MDM Web UI.

In the Data Model Entities area, click the foreign key element AgencyFK, and then in the Properties view, click the Relationship tab.
Click the Foreign Key Infos tab.
Click the down arrow to show the element list, then click the element you want to use in the foreign key information display, and click the [+] button to add it to the XPath list.

Alternatively, click the ... button to open the Select Xpath dialog box from which you can select the desired element.
Enter the expression Agency/Name + " from the region " + Agency/Region in the Format area.
Press Ctrl+S to save your changes.
