Artifact parameters

Artifact parameters are context parameters that describe a given artifact.

In Talend Management Console, these parameters can be included in the execution log of the associated task linked to the artifact.

Despite a task being the logical entity connected to a particular artifact in Talend Management Console, artifact parameters are different from task parameters. See Artifact parameters and Task parameters.

To display this information in Talend Management Console, the artifact featured in the task must have context parameters configured and it must contain the tLogCatcher and tJobLog components to capture this information during execution in Talend Management Console. The tJobLog component must contain a reference to one or several artifact parameters. The syntax of an artifact parameters is flow_<parameter_name> all in lower case, where:
  • flow_: fixed prefix

  • <parameter_name> : information type

Available artifact parameters:
  • flow_execution_id
  • flow_id
  • flow_name
  • flow_start_datetime
  • flow_version
  • flow_workspace
