MDM Platform

About this task

You can import system items, including data models, jobs, processes, and stored procedures, from the MDM Server database to the MDM Repository.

To import system items from the MDM server, do the following:

Procedure

  1. In the MDM Repository tree view, right-click any item, and then click Import Server items from MDM Server.
    The Import Server items from MDM Server window opens.
  2. Click the [...] button, select the server from which you want to import the items in the Select a server location definition window that opens, and then click OK.
    The window is populated with a list of all available system items.
  3. Select the items you want to import.
  4. If needed, you can expand the item node to check the comparison result between items on the Studio side and those on the server.
    You can click the Skip Same button to skip the items which are the same as those on the Studio side.
  5. Click Finish to import the selected items to your MDM Repository.
