Architecture of the support for Azure Private Link with Talend
A PrivateLink connection enables a highly secured network between Talend Cloud and your
Azure VNets.
Support for Azure Private Link is available in all Talend Cloud
regions.
The communication between Talend Cloud and
your VNets does not use the public Internet but goes through PrivateLink connections.
Applications such as Talend Studio and
Talend Remote Engine can
be installed either in your on-premises network or on your VNets. This approach largely
reduces the exposure risk.
Information noteTip: The region-agnostic services running on
*.central.cloud.talend.com use public DNS for the only purpose of
transferring telemetry data. This transfer neither impacts the optimal functioning of
Talend Remote Engine nor
increases exposure risk.
PrivateLink is generally supported by Talend products, from the graphical applications to the API services.
Working with PrivateLink connections or IP allowlists

Requirements to use Azure Private Link with Talend
Support for Azure Private Link on Talend Cloud is available only on request. If you wish to use this feature, reach out to your support contact. Before sending the request, ensure that support for Azure Private Link is available on your Azure platform.
