Restoring a project backup in the repository - Cloud

As the project has already been created in Talend Cloud Data Catalog, restore the backup in the repository to access it.

Before you begin

You have retrieved and unzipped the tdc_gsg_source_files.zip file from the Downloads tab in the left panel of this page.

Procedure

  1. Go to Manage > Repository.
  2. In the repository manager, right-click the Repository icon.
  3. Click Restore.
  4. Depending of the use case you have chosen, select one of the following files:
    • tdc_gsg_sources_files\use-case-1-setting_up\repo_backup.zip to set up your first data catalog.
    • tdc_gsg_sources_files\use-case-2-using_and_contributing\repo_backup.zip to use and contribute to your first data catalog.
  5. Click Restore.
  6. Click the spinning gear icon on the top right of the banner to monitor the operation and open the log if necessary.
  7. Click the Refresh icon from the repository manager toolbar.
    The NSR_project folder appears under the Repository node.

Results

You are ready to switch to the project configuration.
