Applying a custom attribute value to your dataset

The custom attribute you have just created is now visible in the dataset Overview and you will apply one of the available values to the dataset.

Procedure

  1. From the left menu, click Datasets.
  2. Select the movies_gsg dataset from the list to reach the overview.

In the dedicated Custom attributes tile, the new metadata is available, but still empty for now.

All the custom attributes you will create in the future will be listed in this tile.

  3. To start applying a value, click the cog icon.
A drop-down list with all the values configured beforehand opens.
  4. From the drop-down list, select Yes.

The value is directly applied as metadata. This will make clear to other users that the dataset could use some more cleaning despite its overall good quality.

If the custom attribute had been a Text type, you would have simply entered the desired value.

Results

Your dataset is now tagged with this new metadata.
