Procedure

  1. Log in as a rule manager.
  2. In the left panel, click Data quality rules.
  3. Click the rule you want to update.
  4. Update the rule and click Save.
  5. When the rule applies to data models, the Impact analysis message is displayed:
    1. To update the rule, click Save changes.
    2. The new rule definition may not be compatible with data models. To make sure the data models do not contain any errors, go to the Data models tab.
    3. When you see the label , open the data model and go to the Rules tab. The incorrect rule is highlighted.
    4. Redefine the rule.
    When you do not fix the data model, the rule cannot apply on the tasks.
