Fixing an incorrect data quality rule

In the list of data quality rules from the Data quality rules tab, you may see the Incorrect rule label Incorrect rule label.

It is displayed when a semantic type has been deleted or cannot be used for validation.

List of possible issues
When you see... Mode It means that... What to do?
missing Basic The semantic has been deleted. Select another semantic type or delete the row.
unavailable Basic The semantic type cannot be used for validation. Enable Use for validation in the settings of the semantic type or delete the row.
When Use for validation is enabled:
  1. Open the rule from the Data quality rules tab.
  2. Validate the rule configuration.
DELETED_TYPE__NAMEOFSEMANTICTYPE Advanced The semantic has been deleted. Select another semantic type or delete the row.
NON_COMPLETE_TYPE__NAMEOFSEMANTICTYPE Advanced The semantic type cannot be used for validation. Enable Use for validation in the settings of the semantic type or delete the row.
When Use for validation is enabled:
  1. Open the rule from the Data quality rules tab.
  2. Validate the rule configuration.
Use for validation toggle.
Information noteNote: If the rule applies to data models, update them.
