Installing and configuring the artifact repository

The artifact repository used by Talend Studio can be based on either Sonatype Nexus or JFrog Artifactory.

Procedure

Install an artifact repository:
- To download and install Sonatype Nexus, go to the official Download page.
- To download and install JFrog Artifactory, see the JFrog Artifactory website.
Create a snapshot repository and a release repository. For example, talend-custom-libs-snapshot and talend-custom-libs-release.
Configure the two repositories with the correct access rights, so that Talend Studio can read and write to these repositories. The write access is required to deploy libraries to the local artifact repository.
