Task versioning

A task version is automatically updated when changes are made to the task's core design, such as the components used in it, its context variables or its artifact.

These changes can alter this task's capability, inputs, or outputs.

However, the task version remains unaffected by modifications to the run configuration of this task. The run configuration includes details about how the task should be run, such as its timeout, scheduling settings, execution engine selection, or run profile preferences. These factors determine how the task is run only and do not impact the task version.
