|Remote Engine APIs
||Automate your Remote Engine workflows using new APIs.
From now on, you can create, pair, un-pair and delete Remote Engines
programmatically. You can also manage your Remote Engine Clusters by adding
or removing Remote Engines from them.
|Manual task execution
||From this release, when creating a new task with
Manual execution schedule, the
execution will not start automatically after clicking GO LIVE. To run the task, you must click
RUN NOW on the task details
page. This replaces the previous To be used in
plan only type.
||You can now migrate your on-premises installations of
Talend Data Preparation, Talend Data Stewardship and Talend Dictionary Service to a hybrid mode with
Talend Cloud. A migration
tool is available to help you migrate your users, groups, roles and projects
from Talend Administration Center to Talend Cloud Management Console.
|Restriction on executing tasks/plans through the
public API or a webhook
||The same task or plan can only be in the execution
queue (in Running status) maximum 50
times in a 60-minute period. If you have scheduled a task or plan through
the public API or a webhook to run more times than that, any new execution
that would be added to the queue will fail after the limit is
|Using an existing Databricks cluster
||The Databricks run profile configuration has been
updated. You can now use an existing Databricks cluster that has been set up
to be used with Talend Cloud Pipeline Designer.
|Cloud Engines for Pipelines
||Depending on your license type, you can execute your pipelines on the
built-in Cloud Engine for Pipelines without having to set up a Remote Engine Gen2.
