Updating the Remote Engine Gen2 when installed using the execution script

Before you begin

You are working on the machine where the instance of the Remote Engine Gen2 has been installed.

Procedure

  1. Download the zip file of the new Remote Engine Gen2 version and unzip it in the Remote Engine Gen2 installation directory. This step is required if you are upgrading your entire engine to a new version. If you are only applying a patch, skip this step.
  2. Execute the following command to restart the Remote Engine Gen2 instance:
    Unix: 
    ./remote-engine.sh restart
    Windows: 
    remote-engine.bat restart
