Procedure

From the Talend Studio, click the top
bar of the Repository tree view and select
New Branch from the drop-down menu.

In the New Branch dialog box, select the
source, which can be a remote or local branch your local branch will be based on,
enter a name for your new branch, and click OK.

When asked whether to switch to the newly created branch directly, click OK to switch or click Cancel
to stay on the current branch.
