About this task

To avoid creating a report from scratch, you can duplicate an existing one in the report list and work around its metadata to have a new report.

Prerequisite(s):At least one report is created in the Profiling perspective of the studio.

To duplicate a report, do the following:

Procedure

  1. In the DQ Repository tree view, expand Libraries > Reports.
  2. Right-click the report you want to duplicate and select Duplicate from the contextual menu.
    A dialog box is displayed.
  3. Enter a name for the duplicated report and then click OK to close the dialog box
    The duplicated report shows under the report list in the DQ Repository tree view. You can now open the duplicated report and modify its metadata as needed.
