Import context connection parameters from the Talend Studio
repository into the artifact and add the parameters to the connection
component.
Procedure

In the Talend Studio workspace, click the Context view to open the
Context view.
If the Context tab does not show in Talend Studio, click , and select Context.

Click the button for managing variables to open a dialog box.
Example
This dialog box lists all contexts created and saved in the
Repository tree view of Talend Studio.

Select the check box of the context variables you want to import from the
Talend Studio repository and click OK.
The context variables are imported and listed in the
Context view.

Double-click each of the parameters to open a wizard where you can define the
parameter value.
Talend Studio removes connection parameter values from artifacts before publishing them to
the Cloud.

In the artifact, double-click the connection component to open its
Basic settings view.
Example

Press
Ctrl+Space
in each of the connection fields to display the list of the context
connections you defined in the Talend Studio repository and select the context connection parameter.
The values of the connection parameter are not published to the cloud with the
artifact. When you publish the artifact to the cloud, web users must:

Create the connection in Talend Management Console.

Select the connection to run tasks.
