If the Context tab does not show in Talend Studio, click Window > Show view > Talend , and select Context.
  2. Click the button for managing variables to open a dialog box.

    Example

This dialog box lists all contexts created and saved in the Repository tree view of Talend Studio.
  3. Select the check box of the context variables you want to import from the Talend Studio repository and click OK.
The context variables are imported and listed in the Context view.
  4. Double-click each of the parameters to open a wizard where you can define the parameter value.
Talend Studio removes connection parameter values from artifacts before publishing them to the Cloud.
  5. In the artifact, double-click the connection component to open its Basic settings view.

    Example

    Basic settings view.
  6. Press Ctrl+Space in each of the connection fields to display the list of the context connections you defined in the Talend Studio repository and select the context connection parameter.
The values of the connection parameter are not published to the cloud with the artifact. When you publish the artifact to the cloud, web users must:
    1. Create the connection in Talend Management Console.
    2. Select the connection to run tasks.
