Setting connection parameters
Talend Studio has
predefined properties for some applications and systems that are supported by default and to
which you need to define context parameters.

You can define connection parameters as context parameters in the Talend Studio repository and use them to connect to different systems and applications. For further information, see Creating a context and define context variables in it.
Information noteWarning: If a Job containing connection parameters is to be called by another Job
via the tRunJob component, make sure that:
- the connection parameters are defined in the parent Job as well.
- the tRunJob in the parent Job has the Transmit whole context check box selected.
