  1. Locate the file <TAC-Home>/apache-tomcat/bin/setenv.sh

  2. Locate the line starting with “CATALINA_OPTS=…”

  3. At the end of this line, add the string:

    • -Dlog4j2.formatMsgNoLookups=true
